Senior Flash Developer



Gruden is a leading web agency working with some of Australia's largest companies. We're looking for a highly skilled enthusiastic team player with exceptional Flash/Flex skills to join our growing team.

Position Scope
Full Time position, contracting will also be considered.

Working closely on a number of Gruden’s key accounts (including Disney Channel & Walt Disney) you will help shape our overall interactive service offering alongside other senior staff members. You will be required to work both independently & within smaller development teams; consulting with our clients & on emerging technologies, acting as project lead on designated projects – effectively building a wide range of enterprise-level interactive applications.

To effectively scope, develop and implement technical solutions utilizing the latest technologies whilst adhering to the various industry standards. Working closely with the Development & Creative Directors, you will design, plan and manage various projects across a number of platforms and technologies.

You will liaise closely with both internal & external production teams to ensure that every project is both on time and has been through the proper quality assurance processes. This will ensure the solution is of exceptional quality, which is shown through your attention to detail and your ability to effectively communicate with other team members and clients.

Experience (all desirable, but not all necessary)
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in Internet and RIA development

Development Team Manager / Tech Lead



Gruden is a looking for an inspiring, motivated and personable individual to lead our team of developers – guiding them in best practice, efficient development methodologies and to provide support and mentoring.

You must have had solid & proven experience in developing websites, applications, CMS’s, databases etc at a senior level and ideally to have previously managed a team in a web agency environment.( 

In addition to managing the development team, your role will also require you to consult with clients on defining and scoping solutions and the best possible approach to development. Prior experience in providing consulting services in both pre and post sales roles will be of benefit.

This is a ‘hands off’ role and will be best suited to those who wish to down tools and focus on management and solution scoping. You will have outstanding communication & time management skills, as well as excellent people and technical skills. There will be approximately 10 – 15 developers in your team, where you are responsible for ensuring that our solutions are delivered to a high quality & within the agreed timeframes.
